The other day Samantha and I were driving down the road listening to one of our favorite local stations. A promo came on for their morning show that asked a question. I can’t remember now what the questions was, but i do remember Samantha’s comment after the question. See the question had an answer, but one that we did not know. Guess what??? They were not going to answer it till the next morning on their show. This being said, Samantha’s response was, “I hate when they do that, I always want to know the answer, I guess I will have to wake up and listen to it.” First of all, this was a false statement, because she will not wake up early for anything. But this made me think, do we make our clients WANT our service. Do we provide them with a product the can not get without us? Do we make the product so enticing that they say, “I hate when they do that, I want that photo shoot so bad, I guess I will have to call them now and get it set up”. It is so easy to get caught up in the blandness of our own world. We sell the same product every day and it doesn’t become special to us anymore, so we don’t portray it as special to potential clients. We HAVE to remember that people want what we have to offer, and they are excited, after all, we are giving them better products and services than anyone else, right?
