Out with the Old Superbowl 2010
This year, a lot of news thing happened at the Superbowl. To begin, a team that had never won a Superbowl, won. Old records were broke, and old records were tied. The half time show…well…I guess there was nothing new about that, still, very old. The world of commercials changed though. I head many people saying the writing of commercials was not as good this year as it has been in the past. This year marked a different milestone for advertising. A good handful of the ads this year were created either internally, or by consumers. What did does this mean? Not as many ad agencies had a hand in this years creative process, and may have also cut the chains of several large companies to ad agencies. Some companies still held to their norm, like the number one Porn hosting company in the world, GoDaddy (Who’s owner, Bob Parsons, used to own one the the largest Christian Publications around). Consumer created commercials held my favorite, like the Doritos commercial above. What was your favorite commercial?
